2015 Scion xB Evo-One, no transponder

Installing an Evo One for remote start with t-harness Toy1, vehicle has canbus, but is not equipped with a immobilizer system. Installed per guide #92261, but am not hung up on programming/key sense. Obviously I am going to use a different sequence because it will not get to the flashing blue led, there is no immobilizer (verified key has no transponder chip). Is there another quide for 2015 xB with Canbus but no immobilizer?

Remote Start having error if it detects a second FOB.

2018 Dodge Journey, if the remote start is activated while the factory key fob is within range of the trunk sensor, the remote start (evo-all w/tharness) will have an error rendering the vehicle unable to start both with the remote or the dashboard button. The only way to fix it is to unplug power to the evo-all and then plug it back in. After doing that the vehicle will start normally. However I need to find a solution for this as it's left my wife stranded twice.

Anything in the module that could cause a dead battery at random.

Evo-all with Chrysler T-Harness, 2 times had random event where the vehicle got stuck saying no fob is present, had to disconnect Evo and reconnect to get the message to go away. Now, don't know if related but the battery has died 2 times 1 overnight, 1 during day. Dealer tested, said 'shorted ignition switch'. Replaced switch, fault happened again. Vehicle battery has been tested (good), evo starts/stops vehicle as normal. Have temporarily disconnected Evo and harness from vehicle to see if fault happens again.
